A Perfect Day
While Friday tried to rain us out (we at least had one good showing of the film), Saturday was clear skies and Public Eye Soar’s biggest night ever. The largest crowd, the most pieces...and we were a part of it! We’re honored to have played Chapter 9 to such a welcome audience at this phenomenal event. JD and Margaret went above and beyond this year, putting together an amazing showcase for many local, national, and even international artists. The two of them have been so generous, and we are proud to have participated in this. A big thank you to them, to everyone who helped with the event, and to our wonderful audience with their kind words on our film.
Don't miss Chapter 9's next showing, Friday the 13th, 6:30pm, at Lotus Cafe and Juice Bar in Panama City Beach!
"This will be a night to remember."
Delicious food & drinks, a standing ovation, and so many thoughtful questions. Our Chapter 9 Film Premiere was a welcome success! Thank you to everyone who came out and packed the house. We're excited for the film's next showings at Public Eye Soar on November 8th & 9th. In the meantime, enjoy some of our photos from the event.
Striding Through the Undergrowth
Six months, five locations, two out of three acts filmed, and one very complicated shot. Not bad for seven people with little experience and an extremely low budget. But we still have much to do in these final weeks. It's been a tough journey so far, but we've accomplished a lot, and the end is in sight. (Whew!) Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from throughout principal photography.
Principal Photography Is Underway
Preproduction is complete, and we are now in the filming stages of Chapter 9. A lot of time and effort go into making a movie worth shooting--especially on such a modest production--and we're thrilled to see such hard work pay off. We'll keep everyone updated as we continue to make progress.
Production Has Begun on Chapter 9!
Stay tuned for updates on OBSKERZA's first motion picture: a visionary short film from writer/director Jake Brown.
